WHAT TO EXPECT

Welcome to the Back Bay Chocolate & Art Galleries Private Tour! This neighborhood is one of Boston's most beautiful and a city planning masterclass that illustrates the changing tastes and stylistic evolution of American architecture throughout the mid-to-late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Back Bay is also home to some excellent chocolate vendors and an array of art galleries. The group will have chocolate tastings at 4 locations and visit 2 art galleries to explore why Back Bay is as historically significant as it is aesthetically pleasing.

During this tour, we'll taste the following:

• Hot chocolate from one of the pioneers of America's artisanal chocolate industry
• Cookies from a legendary New York City bakery that's expanded into Boston
• Cupcakes from a delightful Newbury St dessert shop
• Chocolate hazelnut cake bites from a three-story Italian goods market

We'll also visit two art galleries:

• A gallery featuring 56 regional and international artists, including ceramics, paintings, photographs, mobiles, works on paper, and sculpture
• An art gallery representing Old Masters, Impressionists & Modern Masters from the 16th to 21st centuries

As a parting gift for joining the tour, you will receive a post-tour email covering my favorite places to visit, activities to enjoy, and local food and drink options while you're in the Boston area.

Alcohol is not included on the tour, but if you’d like to get a drink after the tour ends, I’ll gladly point you in the direction of some terrific bars.
